I’ve spent years interviewing top CEOs, ministers and government leaders globally. But I have also spent the last 15 years working with entrepreneurs just starting their businesses. Overtime I’ve observed who ends up starting their business and who doesn’t.

I wrote down what I learned about Goal Getters vs. Goal Setters.

  1. They do their homework.
  2. They allow themselves to be mentored and concede they don’t know everything.
  3. They have a higher threshold for risk taking that the average Joe (which they build by taking small steps and having small wins overtime).
  4. They know WHY they want it (even if they don’t yet know the how).
  5. They don’t self-sabotage with doubt.
  6. They approach life with optimism. They have faith.
